Shopitup.co.za started in January of this year, the whole
idea behind the site was to bring to a whole new approach to the E-tailer
industry in South Africa. As a business we have committed to finding all our
products through local channels thereby supporting local businesses. A vast
majority of south African shopping websites or E-tailers source there products
directly from overseas company’s thereby missing the local supplier or
manufacturer in the process. The end result is that the consumer has the
potential to get “Burnt” by the experience as these grey imports are synonymous
with warranty and service issues as well as not benefiting local distributers
and suppliers.

Our Moto of “Keeping Retail Inline….Online” plays at the
cellular level of the formation of online shopping whereby consumer can use
online shopping as a bench mark for prices of products they wish to purchase.
As a company we are passionate about ecommerce and hope to grow our niche into

I never like BIG GUYS... I mean big corporation, who are killing small stores and creating monopolies. We should be all aware of that and try to use small stores, owned by people as us.... even if there are a bit more expensive... cause one day we may be all in big troubles when they will destroy all small stores... many ways we are helping them!
